An Oklahoma City native, Michelle has trained in classical Russian ballet, jazz, rhythm tap, lyrical, and acrobatics since the age of three years old. She is certified to teach through Dance Masters of America and serves on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Chapter #27, as well as the Publicity and Social Media Co-Chair for Dance Masters of America on a national level.  She has trained at conventions and intensives such as NYC Tap Festival, Student Honors Intensive Program, Ballet Magnificat!, Dance Masters of America and more. She was a performer in DINO’s Christmas Spectacular in Branson, Missouri and toured nationally with the cast for two seasons.

Michelle has been awarded many state awards and national awards, including 1st Runner Up Miss Dance of Oklahoma. Her performances include: BCS National Halftime Show, Children’s Miracle Network Gala, “KIDS Can Dance Too!”, FOX TV Pilot and more. Most recently, Michelle was a part of the North American debut of Derek Deane’s “Strictly Gershwin” with the Tulsa Ballet Company. She has traveled to South America for a dance mission’s tour and outreach performances. She was recently won the Young Choreographer award from the American Dance Awards state competition. Michelle’s students have gone on to win many regional and national awards, such as Petite and Junior Miss Dance of Oklahoma, and Top 10 Petite and Junior Miss Dance of America.

Currently a junior at Oklahoma City University, Michelle is obtaining her degree in Entertainment Business from the prestigious program at Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment under the directorship of Jo Rowan. After graduation in 2021, Michelle hopes to work in the arts management industry as well as continuing to instruct and educate the next generation of dancers.
